ONSTAGE ATLANTA HEADS ONWARD AND UPWARD - WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS
OnStage Atlanta is on the move and in search of a new home where we can grow and succeed, but we need your help in landing at our next perfect spot.
We recently found out the current owner of our theatre building is selling to a broker who has other plans for the space. Although the exhaustion of moving, the added hours of looking at possible spaces, and the potential costs associated with a new space are all a bit daunting, we have faith that our new home will allow us to continue producing the shows you have come to expect.
In all of our spare moments, we are working to find the perfect home for our main stage shows, young performers program, and space for future growth. Currently we are looking in the area of Chamblee, Decatur, Doraville, and Tucker. The best space for us is out there somewhere.
Our hope is to find and create the perfect space without any hesitation to our planned season. We will share more as we have final details on all fronts. If you think you know where our next theatre home is, be sure to let us know.
Any move will of course take a great deal of funds for the rent, renovation, and moving out of our current space. In addition to funds, it will take help of the personal kind, with in-kind donations of trucks, boxes, time, and more. We are very pleased it has been over three years since we have felt the need to ask for any financial help from our patrons. We pride ourselves on running solely on ticket sales and individual donations. But now we really need more.
Here's where you can help. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we greatly appreciate any tax-deductible donation. If you can give, no matter the size, please do. If you work for a company that matches your donation, please contact us. If you know of others who may feel the desire to give, please connect us. You can make a donation securely via our website (www.onstageatlanta.com): click on the "Support Us" button at the top of the home page, then click on "Make a Donation" near the bottom of the support page. If you have more than a monetary gift to give us, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with a desire to help personally or email@example.com with any ideas or knowledge you have on potential spaces.
As you know, OnStage Atlanta is an organization of individuals who are passionate about the impact the arts have on the community. We will continue to harness the power of live theatre to excite, entertain, educate, and emotionally move audiences. You are an important part of our strong theatre family. As always, we look forward to the next phase of our future together.
