This production will consist of two short TYA shows centered around the theme of dragons. We are casting for both shows in these auditions, and it is possible that some actors will be cast in both. Imagine a Dragon is a musical, so all actors who wish to be considered for that show must be prepared to sing in their audition. See those requirements further below.

Imagine a Dragon – At a struggling inn, a simple rumor about a dragon brings unexpected guests – and unexpected consequences. An epic folk-rock score brings magic to this funny, heartfelt fantasy musical about the power of community.

Dragons Love Tacos – You know what Dragons really love? Tacos of course! A boy and his dog are watching a TV show about dragons when they unexpectedly get caught up in the ‘Dos and Don’ts’ of what to serve to dragons to eat. Dragons love tacos, but if they accidentally eat spicy salsa…watch out!

  • Rehearsals will begin around November 1.

Please be prepared to list all conflicts between November 1 and January 30 to audition form.

  • Mandatory Tech Week: January 10th – 14th

CASTING: ages 19 – and above

Imagine a Dragon – 6 actors (3 female, 1 male, 2 any gender)

Dragons Love Tacos – 7 actors (2 male, 5 any gender)
