Improv Comedy Classes - 2025

2025 Spring Semester Class

4th-8th grade

Info for Kids: How do we learn all these amazing skills? We will be  playing Games!!!! You will get to create silly, funny characters  that meet other wild characters. It will be an hour and a half of fun  and laughter.  Our last class will finish with a short show (think  “Whose Line Is It Anyway”) performed for parents and friends.

Info for Parents: Improvisational Theater is acting without a script so  the performers must develop great listening skills, use teamwork,  and be focused. It was created to help actors create better  characters and live in the moment on stage. Acting without a script  will help us learn to think outside the box, create new characters,  bring more life to scripted characters, and encourage our inner writer.

Wednesdays, February 26 – April 23, 2025 (no class April 9)  6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Summer Camp

LeeAnna Lambert

Summer camp will be led by LeeAnna Lambert with the assistance of members of our artistic company. She has been a working actress and Storyteller here in Atlanta for over twenty years. She received her BFA in acting from the University of Connecticut. As a teaching artist for the Alliance Theatre, A puppeteer for Piccadilly Puppets, and Imaginator at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, LeeAnna has been bringing stories to life for children all over the Southeast. Her goal is to inspire children to use their imagination and hopes her performances foster a love of reading. She has taught acting classes and camps for Alliance Theater, Pace Academy, Georgia Ensemble, Georgia Shakespeare, and Cobb County.
